Our goal is to bring meaningful change to the old, humdrum approach to fishing tournaments and the fishing community as a whole. We strive to welcome new anglers into the sport while creating real opportunities for young anglers to help shape the future of fishing—whether through conservation efforts or a more forward-thinking, innovative approach.

Conservation remains at the forefront of everything we do. We are committed to giving back to anglers, promoting ethical fishing practices, and strengthening the connection between the fishing community and the waters we depend on.

After witnessing the incredible impact and overwhelming community support during the Fall 2025 Surf Benefits for Crazy Alberto, we were inspired to think even bigger. With careful planning for 2026, Tournament proceeds and sponsor contributions will fund The New York High School Fishing League NYHSFL.com &‍ ‍ECSWF Marine Stewardship Scholarship, a college award granted to a graduating senior pursuing a degree in marine biology, fisheries science, marine conservation, or a related field.

Through this initiative, ECSWF is proud to invest directly in the next generation of stewards who will protect, research, and advance the future of our fisheries — ensuring that today’s passion for the water becomes tomorrow’s leadership in conservation.
