We strive to welcome new anglers into the sport while creating real opportunities for young anglers to help shape the future of fishing—whether through conservation efforts or a more forward-thinking, innovative approach.

Just as importantly, we are committed to raising the standard for tournament integrity. Through transparent rules, advanced verification procedures, and anti-cheating measures designed to protect honest competitors, we work to ensure that every participant can compete with confidence, knowing that fairness and accountability remain at the core of every ECSWF event. Our mission is simple: reward dedication, effort, and skill while providing a level playing field for all anglers.

Conservation remains at the forefront of everything we do. We are committed to giving back to anglers, promoting ethical fishing practices, and strengthening the connection between the fishing community and the waters we depend on.

After witnessing the incredible impact and overwhelming support generated through the Fall 2025 Surf Benefits for Crazy Alberto, we were inspired to think bigger about how tournament fishing can create lasting benefits beyond the leaderboard.

Beginning in 2026, proceeds and sponsor contributions will be reinvested directly into the New York High School Fishing League (NYHSFL.com), helping expand opportunities for student anglers across New York State while supporting educational, conservation, and youth fishing initiatives.

Through this initiative, ECSWF is proud to invest directly in the next generation of stewards who will protect, research, and advance the future of our fisheries—ensuring that today’s passion for the water becomes tomorrow’s leadership in conservation.
